Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) that Agently uses on agently.dev and in the Agently app, what each one is for, and how to change your choice. It supplements our Privacy Notice.
Your choice
-
Necessary cookies and storage keep the website and app working, secure and signed in, and remember your cookie choice. They do not need consent and are always on.
-
Analytics cookies help us understand how the website and app are used. On the website we use them only if you choose Accept all in our cookie banner; if you choose Essential only, they are not set. The Agently app is moving to the same banner, and from then on the app follows the same choice.
Your choice is saved in the agently_consent cookie for 12 months and applies across agently.dev and its subdomains, so the website and app share it. You can change it at any time from the Cookie settings link in the website footer, and, once the app's banner is live, in Settings → Privacy in the app. When you withdraw consent, we stop analytics and delete the Google Analytics cookies we set.
Cookies and storage we use
Necessary
| Name | Where | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
agently_consent | Website and app | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies | 12 months |
sb-…-auth-token (local storage) | App | Keeps you signed in to the Agently app (Supabase) | Until you sign out or the session ends |
agently_fp (local storage) | App (shared pages) | A random ID that lets visitors comment on or react to a shared page without an account, so their own comments show as theirs | Until you clear it |
agently_referral_code (local storage) | App | Holds a referral code from an invite link until you finish signing up, then is removed | Until sign-up |
| App preferences (local storage) | App | Small settings such as your chosen model and banners you dismissed | Until you clear them |
__mp_opt_in_out_… (local storage) | App | Set only if you withdraw consent, so Mixpanel stays off | Until you clear it |
agently_access (local storage) | Website (/access) | Remembers your early-access request code after you submit the form, so the page can show your place in line. It does not contain your email address | Until you clear it |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Website and app | Set by Cloudflare to protect against bots and abuse, only when its security checks are used | Up to 30 minutes (__cf_bm); as set by the security check (cf_clearance) |
Analytics (with your consent)
| Name | Where | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Website and app | Google Analytics: distinguishes visitors so we can count visits and see which pages are used | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Website and app | Google Analytics: keeps track of the current visit | Up to 2 years |
agently_utm | Website | Remembers the campaign link (for example utm_source) that first brought you to our site, so we know which of our posts and links work | 90 days |
mp_…_mixpanel, __mpq_… (local storage) | App | Mixpanel product analytics for signed-in users: an anonymous ID, your account ID, the settings Mixpanel needs to group your events, and events waiting to be sent | Until you clear it or withdraw consent |
agently_active_session (local storage) | App | Measures how long a visit to the app lasts | Ends after 30 minutes without activity |
utm_params (local storage) | App | The campaign link that brought you to the app, so we know which links work | Until you clear it or withdraw consent |
Mixpanel in the app may also record a small sample of sessions to help us find problems. When it does, all text is masked and images and video are blocked, so the recording shows only the layout and clicks.
Set by others when you use them
| Name | Where | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calendly cookies | Website | Set by Calendly only when you open the booking window to schedule a call with us. See Calendly's privacy notice | As set by Calendly |
Other ways to control cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the website or app from working, such as signing in. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on all websites.
