Inbox & Approvals

The Inbox keeps you on top of everything happening in your workspace, and it's where you sign off on the work you've asked Jarvis to do on its own. It collects notifications and approvals into one place so nothing slips by.

What You'll See

The Inbox surfaces three kinds of items:

  • Task updates, when a Mission or task finishes, needs input, or changes status.
  • System alerts, workspace events like new members and invitation updates.
  • Decisions, when an agent action is waiting for your approval (see below).

Notifications arrive in real time, no refreshing. The moment something happens, it shows in your Inbox and as a badge count in the sidebar.

Decisions: Your Approval Queue

A Decision is Jarvis asking permission before it takes an action. This is the human-in-the-loop safeguard for autonomous work, Missions that run on a schedule or in the background, without you watching each step.

Here's how it fits together. For everyday chat, you're right there directing each step, so nothing needs pre-approval. But for work that runs on its own, you can set a policy: sensitive actions (say, sending an external email) get proposed instead of executed. Each proposal lands in your Inbox as a Decision:

  1. Review exactly what Jarvis wants to do.
  2. Approve to let it proceed, Jarvis carries out the exact action it proposed.
  3. Reject to stop it.

You get the leverage of an agent that works while you sleep, without giving up control of the actions that matter. Anything not explicitly allowed waits for your sign-off.

Managing Your Inbox

  • Mark as read, click a notification, or Mark All as Read to clear the deck.
  • Delete, remove items you no longer need.
  • Unread count, the sidebar badge tells you when something needs attention.

Tips

  1. Use it as your morning briefing, open the Inbox first thing to see what ran overnight.
  2. Handle Decisions promptly, a pending approval can hold up a background workflow.
  3. Tune your policy, auto-approve the routine, require sign-off on the sensitive. See Security & Privacy.
